Gosh so long neber update le...well sorrie folks.... been busy and slack i guess?anyway its e hols now and my class gg for class outing tmr! looking forward 2 it as its mi 1st outing wif dem.... n 2 Sentosa! key to e British defenses of Fortress Singapore harbour front! well.... lets go luge.. haha its fun!
okie nw for serious stuff! i was shocked with BN lost so many seats in e msian elections... most SEA states have a single party dominant (i.e. 2/3 majority) in fact i tink many Asian countries do... so wads e implications?
5 states lost = Federal govt (KL) wun b able 2 carry out reforms in these places and if they behave like i expect, little funding will b available for them. and these 5 states happen 2 b usually e more impt states. ARGGG..>> well according 2 mi sis, e young n rich chinese are also flocking to DAP now....sigh... n mi cousin's in MCA. Bak 2 e lost states, Penang is impt as its a Chinese majority state so DAP has 5 yrs 2 show that they can do a betta job as many voted nt coz they love DAP bt coz they dun love BN. sucky eh? Same goes the e traditionally Malay states... Kedah is rather undeveloped so opposition can do much. bt well its gg b hard for them as they promise 2 lower prices and all (populist policies) and may well lead to Msia suffering a deficit in e long run. i mean u cant juz keep giving goodies away rte? Dun give ppe fishes, teach them how 2 fish!
Anyway, the <65% majority in govt means its tuff for Abdullah 2 pull thru any bills dat requires e constitution 2 b amended. 2 bad for them.... 2 racial and not in touch with e ground. I mean u cant get ppe 2 love u if u seize their temples, their dead relatives and allow corruption 2 flourish or well he tried bt insufficient. Still i prefer Abdullah 2 his predecessor whos a super anti semetic! and by voting for e opposition, e Chinks n Indians will prob b prepared to suffer but still if BN penalise them 2 much, we may see BN as e opposition next time round. And of course, MSia politicians are allowed to defect to other parties unlike sg where MPs run on party tickets. So, both sides can try to persuade each other 2 jump ship.. we may see some interesting drama soon:) Oh btw, these r my and my views alone and do not reflect anywan or organisation views! yeah!
